It seem that the higher end flooring produces are selling well these days & as always the customers are happier. As we read though the Floor Covering News, it is confirmed that the industry is showing a increase in sales on the higher grade products. The flooring manufacture must of seen it coming because they are offering more selections in there broadloom carpets, and in the resilient market. We have seen a pick up over the last few year in the higher grade products.
Of course we have always pushed for the higher grade products because we know the end results are always better. Crystal Carpet Plus Colortile has always looked for ways to get our customers the highest grades. We have many times had to think outside the box to do so, but we know it is a win win for us all when we can get the best product to our customers. Number 1 the customer gets a look like no other when using a high end flooring product. Secondly the better grade products are made better and this benefits the installers ability to work with the product. We believe the higher grade flooring is up due to the residential homeowners are upgrading there existing homes instead of building a new home. It seem that when people build a new home the flooring is the last thing they have to choose, and the budget is blown at this point on all the other upgrade. We always hate to see people compromise on the flooring because we know that there is not another product they will put in their home that will take the abuses that the flooring takes. It always seems to pay dividends to use upgrade products.
